Education Program

Acting Classes

We offer classes from 3 years of age to high school seniors. The different age groups meet for either half or one hour sessions per week to learn more about acting and theatre. Come for just one or both of our sessions.

Class registration will take place before each session. For early registration please email us. Classes must be paid for before or on the date of the first class.

How To Shine!

Held at the PW Enns Centennial Concert Hall
6 week session

How to Shine! - Join us for a session of theatre games and exercises that teach us how to create characters and tell stories that are memorable...of course all while having fun! Join us whether you’ve never tried out theatre before or you’ve been in tones of shows! NEW GAMES GUARANTEED!  



Winkler Session Cost: $50 for ages 3-5 class / $70 for grade 1-12 classes

Session 1B: [Gretna] - September 10 - December 1, 2012
It's Show Time!

10 week session plus a few additional rehearsal times (TBA)
-Thanksgiving Monday's class will be moved to Wednesday, October 10 

-No classes October 22 or 29 and then we'll resume Monday nights up to our performance date

It’s Show Time! - And time to get the creative juices flowing as we stage our own version of the Dicken’s classic tale, A Christmas Carol.  During our class time we will create a One Act version of the story; write the script and rehearse the piece - everyone is guaranteed a part!  Invite your family & friends to see your creation in a joint program with the Cottonwood Choir on December 1 @ 7pm. 


Gretna Session Cost: $125 for session

Session 2: [Winkler] - January 7 - April 6, 2013
Its Show Time!

Held at the PW Enns Centennial Concert Hall 
8 week session



It’s Show Time! - Come one, come all to bring to life the classic tale with a twist The Princess and the Pea ... And the Prince Who Had to Pee. Meet all the Princesses from around the world that just didn’t meet the Prince’s cut; visit the castle’s kitchen to learn about true love and meet the most nervous Prince ever recorded in the history of story-kind! Working in our class groups we’ll create the scenarios, characters and scenes for our student production. Then we’ll rehearse the scenes all together in March and April. Everyone is guaranteed a part! Invite your family& friends to see your creation April 5 @ 7pm and April 6 @ 2pm. Parents: a calendar with all additional rehearsal times will be available at the end of Session 1. 
**Please note an additional class will be added on Wednesdays for grades 6-8 running from 4:15-5:30. 

Winkler Session Cost:  75 for ages 3-5 class / $100 for  grade 1-12 classes
